Day 4: Tiny Acts of Creative Delight

Hi there,

I hope you've either had a couple of amazing adventures or that you have plans for adventures in the very near future.

As promised, today is a smaller day.

Much smaller. We're actually going tiny.

Today I invite you to go back to your list and find five things on it that could be tiny acts of creative delight for you.

If there isn't anything on the list, then make a new list with the title:

Tiny Creative Delights.

What are some things that you can do in five or ten minutes to plug into the feeling of creative delight?

When we are depleted, it's easy to go to the things that we always do, or things that feel nurturing or safe for us. And those things are amazing! So your safe and nourishing list is great for when you need that.

What about when we want to be creatively replenished? We need a new list.

Assignment

  1. Make a list of ten things that you can do that a) you love and b) can be creative and c) can be done in a few moments.
  2. Yes, writing can be on this list!

When we are resourced and already have a plan, we make it easier for us to choose consciously. So if we have a list of tiny, creative things we love to do, and we do them a few times to get used to them, when feel overwhelmed or depleted it becomes easier to choose that over something that isn't as replenishing.

Make sense?

Let's do what we can to make creative delight an easy choice.

Do at least two tiny acts of creative delight today.

With so much love,
